Hi,
Is there a cvar or command line that I can set for the game to always stick to one core?
If I don't set the game to infinity every time I launch, it will lock up on me after playing for a bit.
Windows XP SP3
Q6600 CPU
ATI HD5850

Create a new .txt file with the following content
Rename the .txt to .bat and create a shortcut that points to the batch file. If you use the shortcut to start Urban Terror it will only use the first core (core 0). The number after "/affinity" determines which cores to use. If you want to use a different core (or multiple cores) you need to use the hex value of that number.
Quote
c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe /C start /affinity 1 C:\pathtoyouurtfolder\Quake3-UrT.exe
