Quake 3 Ded Rate Topic: -----

Failure after update

After running the update today I get this error on startup

/Quake3-UrT-Ded.i386: line 1: syntax error near unexpected token `newline'

Pretty sure it shouldn't be a webpage? Did I do something wrong, are others getting this error?

It's possible that still not all CDN servers have all files, in this case download is redirected to main urt page and that is downloaded instead of correct file.
You can try manually using 46.105.198.3 for cdn.urbanterror.info (add to hosts file).
I updated all files fine from this IP.

EDIT: Make sure you check all other files, they may be corrupted/HTML as well. Delete them before running updater again.

It worked. I had to make a fresh install though, after I added the host as suggested.

If you don't want to do full reinstall, you have to delete all bad downloaded files (any files with HTML contents). Updater will not download anything if new files are already present on disk (even if they are invalid or incomplete).
