[Kolossus]

I understand that regular users get the greyscale avatars, but is there actual support for the alpha channel (i.e. .PNG) in our avatars?

I've seen some users with a non-square avatar so I thought yes (not to mention the basic smile avatar), but each time I try to upload a custom one, it gets broken... In other words the background becomes white and the shape inside gets weird lines around it.

Is there something I'm missing?

Just copy the color of the website and use it instead :P
should be easy and fully working i suppose

Ahah yes I thought about that, but with alpha it would be neat... in case there is no support (which I doubt) I'll switch to that solution. :P
