Hey, i am looking for a good gaming headset that would cost me around 40 - max. 50 euros because my old one broke.

I was looking at the Senheiser PC 320 but i think its little bit too expensive (60 Euros).

I`d be gratefull for any good recommendations (with link)!

Thank you for your attention

Quality comes at a price ... Sennheiser are generally Very good headsets and might just worth the extra buck.. depending on your usage... comfort might be of consideration .. go at a store where you can try them (more than 5 min) ... 60 Euros is not THAT expensive for something you will listen to for hours

I've had the best luck with my old logitech headset. They don't make them quite like they used to anymore, at least not for a good price they dont. I agree with Oly,though. Good luck! :)

the PC310's are cheap considering they are sennheiser, however you won't get any inline volume control or mic mute.

Go for the sennheiser and avoid 5/7.1 headphones.

Long Time I was a Sennheiser Fan also, then I had 2 broken Sennheiser close after Waranty was over. So I aksed in a Forum for new Headphones.

Now I use a: Creative Aurvana Live Headset. It don't have a Mic cause I don't use Mics very often. But there's also a Version with Mic. But I purchased A ZalMan Mic, wich can be used seperatly. So i can choose the position where to place it free. The Headset is very very good and i wear it since 9 Months it's still as good as on the first Day.

Perhaps you should ask the Pro about thi. I used the Hifi Forum to ask for Hardware Help.

Hi, Silverfox

I would actually recommend you to get Headphones instead of a Headset and just buy a cheap mic separately. If one of the two components break you can easily replace them and go through less hassle than getting your hole headset to repair or else.

5.1/7.1 surround is overkill if you ask me, since you actually need a good soundcard to make use of it. Also some (emphasis on some) games, especially older ones, don't support surround sound with newer titles should be fine (e.g. Bioshock, STALKER, Doom 3, Amnesia, just to name a few).

Good headphones come at a price but really enhance your sound experience. If you don't really care for good sound quality and just listen to some crappy 128 kbps mp3s, go ahead and buy some cheap ones.

What you could do:

1.) Get yourself G35 (~80) or G930 (~130 same as 35 but wireless) and enjoy them for a few months. (they break before the warranty expires because of a production error). As mentioned one sentence earlier, warranty should be still on and you can get new ones super easy. Or...

2.) Get yourself some Turtle Beach Ear Force Z2

What I recommend:

audio technica ath-m50 ~130€
audio technica ath-ad700 ~130€
Senheisser HD 518 ~100

Remember, once you go to super fancy audio town there is no going back!

Hope I could help you!

Yuri
