Btw what does rawmouse do? :)

Raw mouse enables the game to directly read data from the mouse, meaning visibility of all mouse buttons, no input lag from mouse, no mouse cursor "sticking" to the edges of the screen, no mouse buttons getting stuck while shooting. It's by default in most of the modern games, so having a good mouse with 1kHz reporting rate can be used without any constraints.

http://www.r00t.cz/SW/UrbanTerror - finally, this deserve news on a main page. However it makes me wonder how one guy not connected with FS can implement such features while FS couldn't have since 10 years. No offence FS, but I really can't see the problem you have about this:)

//EDIT: I didn't noticed the footer at that page and that it was created by r00t. Then it's even harder for me to understand why it's not in an official source branch. And I'm not talking about experimental features, but all these nice little changes that are there.

spent a little time playing 009, like the glock, still have those fps drops ... did fs find out anything in that matter based on the feed back you got?
if you don't like uptown, you are basically hating urban terror.

If you compile from source then you have perfectly good Linux support. If you're on Ubuntu or just about any Ubuntu or Debian-based Linux, use this to compile, and it should work assuming you have all the dependencies:
CPATH=/usr/include/freetype2/ make

It's probably best if continued discussion of r00t's client is in that thread.

not exactly, bullet hit last body part on his way (right arm behind torso).
fandesandro reported same issue in previous video (from 008).

I report some bugs I realize:

1) if you start a local game (from "start server" in the menu) with whatever gametype or map and then you go to play an online game, servers will be disappeared and you can't refresh any servers. So you have to quit and restart the game to get a new serverlist;

2) there are still the glitches in the player arms if you use g-36 and negev at fov 110. This issue was solved in the version .001, but it reappered again;

3) spawnpoints in map Docks are messy. There are no bases, blue and red teams share the same spawnpoints and it's not funny.
