I run 5 auth enabled servers on 4.2.009 and I see players doing this:

MasterBlaster connected
[auth] MasterBlaster - no account
MasterBlaster Disconnected

This particular player did this 3 times in a row, and I guess gave up trying to connect to my server.

It does this for both logged in and logged out players. (login is optional on my servers)
I realise it could be maxping kicking in, but it is set to 350 and my servers get 200ping to New Zealand / 150ping to france (from what I have seen)
I also run standard maps that come with urt. (except for the jump server)
Also, this happens too fast for the player to even load the map

This doesn't just happen every now and then, it happens for almost half the players who connect to my servers.

I have no idea what this could be, I am guessing it is a bug for some players? Any ideas?

Also: I would like to add that I have seen this happen on other servers, auth enabled and not. But I have spent more time on my servers, so I can only say for sure there is something up on my servers.

They are probably players on 4.1 trying to connect to your 4.2 server, and after the connection they get rejected for client/game mismatch.

4.1.1 server browser does list the 4.1 AND 4.2 servers.
