Is there anyone here that uses Blender + GtkRadiant and managed to find a solution for making a model fit?

I've tried making a brushwork in GtkRadiant, exported it as .obj and imported in blender, modified that, trying to keep the size, UV mapping and then exporting as .ase into Radiant, but the new model comes huge, so when I scale it down it never really matched the Radiant grid, therefore making it not quite fitting to the pre-existing brushwork.

Any solutions?

By the way, I'm speaking of an architectural model of course. My alternative would be to use the brushes I made and turn that into ase, but I was wondering...

What is more convenient: Having just those brushes and set them as detail or make them a model?

I'm no expert but maybe try scale down the model in blender?

3dsmax is free for non-commercial use, so you have no excuse for using blender.

I wrote a short guide on doing exactly this a while back:

On the autodesk site I see no free option, only very expensive ones, unless you mean the Student option? And does it work for students in other countries too? The descriptions on site are kind of vague.

In any case, waiting for a response from you about that, Null, I'd like to find a solution for Blender too, as there are many who use Blender and someone might have encountered this problem. If necessary and possible, I might give 3ds Max a chance, but for now I'll to stick to Blender.

I managed to do it! There was one more thing to do (I don't know if this is enough by itself but I guess it helped): When exporting to ase, in the Save screen, go to the left, where you see the folders, and scroll down. There is a Scale value. I put Scale: 1 and it did the trick. Now the mesh fits exactly the grid in Radiant. :) Maybe also just un-ticking "scale" in the same window would work.
