Map Voting <- insert map

I think that a good feature, which would be easy to implement and wouldnt alter the gameplay at all would be the addition of a /callvote nextmap vote. This would insert a map into the cycle, and say a simple cycle was being used... ie

Casa
Abbey
Docks
Uptown

if the current map was casa, and docks was voted "nextmap", then after docks, the cycle would return to abbey.

SO a map is simply inserted into the cycle.

Could be used in conjunction with callvote map.

Thoughts?

I gues it would be nice. Voting now screws up the mapcycle...

If it could be turned on separately from current map votes, so that you have different levels of map voting, that would be nice too. I always dislike people voting halfway during a map, but if it's only for the next map, it would be okay I suppose.

Ooooh now I get better what you mean. Voting for nextmap, wich means you can chose what map to go to after the current one... Sounds cool.

Hmm, that would actually work.

/callvote nextmap ut_abbey2 (adds next in cycle)

Aslo the /callvote map ut_abbey2 just adds that map next in cycle, but starts it right away.

[quote name='"Aarsbuds0r"]Ye' date=' so should be ez to code, right? :D[/quote']

hmm, not as easy as it sounds, as it is now the mapcycle.txt cant be edited from rcon mode!(?)

So i guess there have to be some major changes!

The mapcycle doesnt have to be editted. You just vote for wich map will come after the next one...
