Process to date,

First downloaded the new updater, upon execution got message regarding corrupt files or bad internet connection. Tried several ore times with no success.

Then downloaded full 4.2.011, unzipped and could not load default.cfg Are we really still having this problem, deleted entire urt folder and urt files related(in case of overcrowding). Unzipped again, same result.

Now running the updater from full 4.2.011.zip extremely slow, only on pk 2 after about 20 minutes.

hope this works but not at all optimistic.


open to suggestions.

A lot of people had these issues and I think after 11 releases, this is really something that should be fixed.

I had to run the windows updater 3 or 4 times and the linux updater for my server about 8 times. It would tell me each file was corrupted then on the next go-around, it would download that file and tell me the next was corrupted so I just kept having to repeat the process.

Is this something that's being worked on, FS?

We've all given up and just grab the zip updates and distribute...less of a headache.
