Everytime i try to type it in - it restarts on the first letter that i typed
and i cant copy paste it.
And its too f*cking long

Sounds like you’re typing the digits on the numpad — regardless of Num Lock state, pressing a numpad key always inserts the digit and performs the alternative action (Home in your case, I guess). It’s one of the issues caused by the serious limitations of the Quake 3 UI scripting.

You should be able to paste the key in the console, with the command /auh-set (as in /auth-set 5A7AKAV47ARAB4VAN4PA6ANAR4HAPAD4). If Ctrl+V doesn’t work, Shift+Insert should.

Or you could just create a file called autkhey in your q3ut4 folder and paste the key into that. After restarting urt, it should pick it up just fine.
