I had to format my pc, i have got a new auth key but it is invalid, tried a few times, any ideas, got a match soon :(

p.s my updater doesn't seem to run, possible cause??

I get an error " This app has failed to start because MSVCP100.dll was not found.Reinstalling may fix ......"

As usual, it’s impossible to tell whether it’s a bug or simply your doing something wrong without knowing any details.

What excactly are you doing with the auth key — typing it in the log in field in the GUI, using /auth-set in the console, pasting the key in your authkey file? What exactly is the error message that you get? Does section 5 of the Ikslorin’s guide answer any questions? Are you perhaps using numpad to enter the digits?

Log in, auth-set in the console so far. Error, just says invalid auth key please visit website. Not using numberpad, i'll look into the link ;)
Third option not working either, not sure i want to try the 4th.

It happened to me and many other people when first requesting the auth key. I think after a few attempts of getting a new key, it actually worked.
