I get the message below (OSX Mac)

The downloaded file is corrupted. Please check your internet connection and launch again the Updater.

I think you just need to run it a couple times at the moment.
at some point it will finish

I had this too, just move the urbanterror folder to your own home folder instead of leaving it under applications, then the updater works quite well. After updating you can move the folder back into applications.
