Hello all,
I'm currently running UT 4.1.1 on Linux Mint 13 MATE. I used to (about 3 months ago) be able to download maps just fine, but a few days ago I got this message:
"Can not autodownload missing file(s), because the cURL library could not be loaded."
I've checked and I do have cURL and libcurl3 packages installed.
I'm confused over this issue as I used to be able to autodownload, but now its broken?
Any help would be appreciated.

Well, looks like a posted too soon, got it working, but incase any others have issues this is what I did.
In linux terminal:
This will give you a list of file and their locations, like:
Using the list generated, find the appropriate libcurl.so file and write down its path.
In my case
/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libcurl.so.4.2.0
Next start Urban Terror, open the counsel and use this command (replaceing pathtolibcurl with your path):
Now try to autodownload a map, if it works, hurrah! If not, use another libcurl.so path.
Once you find a libscurl.so path that works, open autoexec.cfg with a text editor and add:
This will make Urban Terror remember the correct path, so you don't have to type it into the console every time your start it up.
In linux terminal:
locate libcurl
This will give you a list of file and their locations, like:
/usr/lib/libcurl.so.3
/usr/lib/debug/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libcurl-gnutls.so.4.2.0
/usr/lib/debug/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libcurl-nss.so.4.2.0
/usr/lib/debug/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libcurl.so.4.2.0
/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libcurl-gnutls.so.3
/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libcurl-gnutls.so.4
/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libcurl-gnutls.so.4.2.0
/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libcurl-nss.so.3
/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libcurl-nss.so.4
/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libcurl-nss.so.4.2.0
/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libcurl.so.3
/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libcurl.so.4
/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libcurl.so.4.2.0
/usr/share/doc/libcurl3
/usr/share/doc/libcurl3-dbg
Using the list generated, find the appropriate libcurl.so file and write down its path.
In my case
/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libcurl.so.4.2.0
Next start Urban Terror, open the counsel and use this command (replaceing pathtolibcurl with your path):
/cl_curllib pathtolibcurl
Now try to autodownload a map, if it works, hurrah! If not, use another libcurl.so path.
Once you find a libscurl.so path that works, open autoexec.cfg with a text editor and add:
set cl_curllib workingpathtolibcurl
This will make Urban Terror remember the correct path, so you don't have to type it into the console every time your start it up.

Thank you, it works for me.
You can also download the maps on the web (links on this page) and put the file.pk3 in the folder q3ut4.
