OMFG all commands for server goes to server console this not to in game console


well i just typed in server console

rconpassword xxx

and in game in rcon next to password typed xxx

and so i can reload reset cycle and change maps at will
so everything just works now like i wanted

lol i dont have Quake3-UrT-Ded.exe


i prepared my server already and every thing works now
server is even visible on server list
just sad in rcon i dont have list of my maps but what ever i go jump now TY for all

open in-game console, type /map then press tab, it's going to list you all the maps you got into your q3ut4. Enjoy jumping by the way :)

all works

but now i found that Quake3-UrT-Ded.exe file i was trying to start server with it and still everything works


but each time i start server it restarts to defaults all my urban terror user settings which are in q3config.cfg file

got any idea why ? or how to prevent it ?

Yup, I know :/ It just did for me :p

What you can do is, put your settings as you like, then go to q3ut4 and open q3config.cfg. Create yourself a .cfg (name it whatever you want, in this example we will call it 'test.cfg'), copy everything that is in q3config.cfg and paste it into test.cfg.

When you start your server, just do /exec test.cfg in the in-game console.

yep it works

i had other way around i just set q3config.cfg in properties to read only and that fixes it too but still if i change anything after reload it restarts to the way it was when i selected read only

ill gonna look for solution and make new topic for it cause im iritated


for now i use my previous solution i created folder named server copy there q3ut4 folder and use it as server so it can change there anything i dont care cause it wont affect game but i need to copy manually all new maps i downloaded and its anoying
