Hey guys!

Sup I'm leks. I've had a few problems whit binding, maybe because I'm dumb or whatever but can someone please tell me some decent binds for example:

-Why can't I activate ut_radio lol?

-How do I drop a kevlar and at the same time say "Kevlar dropped"?

-How do I bind a button so when I click it, it chooses me the weapons I want?
ex: sr8+ump45+deagle; equip: kevlar+helmet+he grenade?

-Is it possible to drop helmet + kevlar at same time? ex: ut_itemdrop kevlar;ut_itemdrop helmet?
P.S. I'm okay whit radio binds, they're really easy!

ut_itemdrop kevlar; say_team Kevlar dropped (you probably want to tell it only to your team). This will only work on a server with floodprotect turned off though (e.g. in competitive play.

Doesn’t seem to be possible; it does work on a local server, but not on a remote one, even with a long wait between the commands. Can‘t see any reason to drop helmet anyway…

Grenade slot is the fourth letter, replace A with O. Remember, the string you set must be valid; GMAORUT wouldn’t work (you have to get rid one of the items to free the grenade slot). The easiest way to figure out the proper strings is setting your desired gear via the menu and then typing /gear in the console.

Also, don’t forget to use proper echoes for each preset — GMAARUT definitely isn’t LR300, kevlar and helmet:-P (In fact, it seems you’re ignoring the gear values completely, trying to set the equipment in the ut_echo part… only these mysterious letter combinations affect your equipment, echoes are only labels for your convenience and can have any content you wish.)

All sets come with Desert Eagle; if you want Beretta, replace G with F; Glock would be f (lowercase).

Scripts like this have to be put in a config file, preferrably not in the q3config.cfg. First, you need to find where the game saves your stuff — this can be different depending on your operating system. Next, create a new text file named autoexec.cfg. If you have trouble doing so (or have showing file extensions disabled), you can make a copy of q3config.cfg, rename it, and delete its contents. (Actually, I think there should be a file called autoexec_example.cfg — you can simply rename this one.)

Paste the script in your new autoexec.cfg and you’re set, the file gets automatically executed every time you run UrT, and won’t be changed by the game (unlike the q3config.cfg which is overwritten every time).
