So I forked the official 4.2 client (latest version), and added paste support :). You'll need xclip installed (probably your distro's xclip package).

I actually just implemented this two days ago. I personally decided not to include it because it adds a huge edge case of xclip crashing. You should submit a pull request for upstream regardless, we might actually use it :)
