I was jus hunti'n high and low on the web to find a urt launcher progrma easy-and-ready-to-go, but so far i've foun out only urtconnector, that is very very crashy, at least on my desktop pc with win xp :,(

Please, may you suggest alternatives? Xfire is quite complicated for me..thanks!! Moreover I don't wanna create an account because I'm a very very occasional gamer!

I think you can launch the game with the free version of Qtracker on Windows. There is also gametracker.com which has an executable for launching games on Windows and Mac using their site.

Linux has no launchers that I'm aware of. I've written one myself in POSIX shell that works with the Servers section of the site, in just about every browser except Opera. But its part of a larger installer and that project has been on the back burner lately.

Thanks! Though Qtracker is a bit hard for me with tons of options but actually, I found another one for both win and linux: UrTSB. It has a very simple, yet easy interface, but as for windows it doesn't want to connect! >.< don't know under linux...

Here's a link to a setup guide for Qtracker, it should get you going in about 5 minutes (you may need to register on their site):

Yep, this can be done. @hellraise if you're interested in using the servers section of the website, I can show you how to get it working. :)
