Hi folks,

I am planning to buy a new laptop for playing mostly urban terror with some other small
games. I used to own a sony vaio which had i3+AMD Radeon Mobility 5650+17" and I used to get
~40 fps on Urt with 30+ players which was not at all satisfactory. I am planning to buy a new laptop
which would enable me to reach 80+ fps while playing Urt without breaking much sweat. I thought it would be
nice to ask the folks as to which laptop would be the best for that. I was thinking of buying the $819
Lenovo Y510 (http://shop.lenovo.c...y-series/y510p/). It seems to have
i7 processor with GT 750M. Though I have read very good reviews about this laptop, I really don't know whether
this would be enough for Urt or I will have to buy even a more expensive one. Please help me choosing the
right machine.

Thank You.

It's totally enough for urt, the lags you had before were due to the fact that urt wasn't designed to have that many players

Thank for your reply. I am still actually using urban terror 4.1.1 and will probably continue on it.
Will it be the same if I run 4.1.1 on the new machine in terms of fps?

HI.......
I must say that this laptop is way too better to play URT. He hee...... I play Urt using Dell inspiron N5110. i7 - 2.2 Nvidia 525M. The laptop you going to buy is better than mine. So sure you can reach 125FPS without any difficult. :D HF....

Thanks for your reply. What kind of fps do you experience while playing. Please let me know. I have ordered a Sager
NP8235 - i7 4700 mq + GTX 770M + 8 GB RAM. If this is not sufficient, I will order the GTX 780M.

You can play Battlefield 4 on that laptop, there is no reason to spend so much money just for urt

Well I would definitely play high end games as well on my new machine. I got this one as I was very apprehensive of buying a medium or low end graphics card because of my previous experiences.
