Cutting to the chase, could I get an answer as far as whether the cool mods in 4.1 will be possible in 4.2? If not, 4.1 will likely never go away.

FrozenSand does not officially support server side mods and it's up to the server admins to keep up with the version changes.

I dont have any clue about this apparently.

I thought modding wouldnt be possible with the code being closed source, so that is wrong?

As FS doesn't support mods and from what I know, it would be hard to keep up with the updates if it's possible, people should give feedback on the following suggestions:

There's also freeze mode and 1 in the chamber to consider. Not sure where they stand with any of them or if they're even considering it but since mods aren't "supported", it would be cool to have the options needed available to us because a lot of people do like and play mods.
