I would know if something is changed about bots support in v. 4,2
I mean, are there new default maps with bots support? where can i find a list of maps?
can they play different gametypes? which?
does the game crash if I load personal maps but I run those where bots support is enabled?
any other info is appreciated

Bots weren't supported in 4.1 and still aren't in 4.2, however there is a list of maps here (probably outdated): http://www.urbanterror.info/support/188-game-bots/#1.4
Although the bot's code didn't change, for some reasons they don't leave the spawn anymore in some maps(eg. turnpike)
They can play CTF, FFA, LMS, TS, TDM, in bomb mode they won't plant nor defuse

alright, thank you Markinho!
when i played UrT 4,0 (where bots were playing) you should download the game exactly as it was.
if you added some extra maps (download maps to let understand) the game with bot_enable=1 crashed...
... also if you played on a supported map.
i guess this didn't change because the code is the same.

The aas file is a sort of alternative map file made for bots, it's made up of invisible walls blocking only them, to avoid lemmings from uptown garage or falling into pools
If the aas file isn't found the bots won't spawn, because there is actually no place for them to move

For maps that don’t support bots you can generate the AAS files by yourself — since bots are 100% server-side it’s enough to have the PK3(s) with the AAS files on the server, players won’t need to download anything.
