Pugbot (5 vs 5 Team Survivor Pick-Up Game) has now been fully updated to 4.2.

-Join #pugbot with any IRC client on quakenet or gamesurge, the networks are connected via the relay bots

-You can also join via the website www.pugbot.com or by simply clicking http://webchat.quakenet.org , enter your nickname and put #pugbot for the channel

-Once connected, type .join and wait for 10 people for the PUG to start

-Use .maps to see the available maps and vote for them with .vote mapnamehere (This also works when joining. e.g. .join orbital_sl)

-When 10 people join, the bot will message you the private server you need to connect to

-Unless you're captain, you wait in spectator until you are picked

Other commands are:

.status - Shows you how many people are waiting on a pug

.active - Shows you if there's any active pugs going

.last - Shows you the last pug played

While the servers are North American, any community is welcome. If you have an active ban for cheating in 4.2, you are not welcome in #pugbot. If you have any questions, there's usually an active admin around so just ask. Hope to see you there!

It was just brought to my attention that quakenet has banned mibbit. I have updated the original post to reflect another webchat you can use. Honestly, I would just suggest getting an IRC client. They're not too hard to set up and when you're not using it, you can just minimize it to your system tray (usually). pchat, xchat-wdk, or kvirc will all get the job done.
