Hey..I'm not sure about this cause there are essentially two places where stuff can go...
User -> Library -> Application support -> quake3 -> here
or just Applications -> quake3 -> here
which ones the correct one, anyone know?

the only one that goes in the Apps / 3 folder is from the installers.
all files you DL ( as well as the pbweb.app) should go in
/Users/**YOUR USER NAME**/ Library/Application Support/Quake3/PB
is the pbweb.app not working for you ? I find it MUCH better then dling the files to be honest .
