Hi, I've been having problems with my Urt Updater lately

Firstly, I've downloaded the files from the updater and it installs correctly although halfway during the install, an error comes up saying 'check your internet connection, files may not be downloaded.

Although all the files have been downloaded, After I try launch the updater I press play and nothing happens, the UrT Updater just exits and nothing happens

Any help would be appreciated as I'm wanting to play UrT 4.2 again

in case your game was on the latest version before, you could also try the .015=>.016 pack. saves quite some time i guess.

but maybe there are even direct downloads for each pk3.

I really don’t think it’s a PK3 issue, it looks like your client binaries (Quake3-UrT) didn’t update properly. You can either delete a small PK3 to force a re-download (you can’t get the binaries to update without this) and run the updater again, or get the update ZIP that also contains all the binaries (about 45 MB download).

BTW, you don’t have to launch the game via the updater, you can simply start the client directly ((double-)click on the Quake3-UrT file with the exetension that fits your operating system).
