Hello Ajay, your IP adress has changed since the last time you have been authentified. For your own security, you must log in again.

alert SECURITY If you are always disconnected for this reason, verify that your IP is really changing. If, not, you can think that you password has been discovered or stolen. Change your password, and contact the admins.

To remove this alert, you can do a full logout
Enter your login & password

my auth is Ajay

well. if you live in a country like Germany your IP will change daily. (gl&hf for IP bans :O)
Like mine changes daily (which causes me to login again most of the time, but also because i dont accept cookies, etc)

Anyway, when you do get that "Bad Challenge" thing, when connecting to a server or when starting the game?
In both cases check your firewall, and your router('s firewall).

Your authkey has nothing to do with this, since its a networking error, so getting a new one will probably not help (expect you got some weird random alien bug  )

Hope we can help you :)
Sorry for my bad spelling - I am still asleep. :)

In Singapore, IP's change literally every second... imagine never being able to log in to this site, or never being able to play a pug at pugbot or urtpickup. There really needs to be some backup for stuff like this. I think keeping an IP address for longer than a week is very uncommon, the world over. Maybe MAC address or something. I don't know, but I really feel bad for people that have their UrT experience restricted because of dynamic IP.

Take a look at dyn.com (I'm not affiliated with them)
That site will give you a host name for example myconnection.dyndns.org for your connection even with the IP changes frequently.
You must have a dynamic DNS capable router though but these are very common these days.
Then instead of giving out your IP address, you give your host name.

better yet, check out freedns.afraid.org for a free alternative...

but, that will only help you if you are trying to run a server.
for people that can't connect to the urt.info site or pugs, the software involved is polling their ip, not hostname.
I think that for them to get this fixed will require some serious changes in the code of the game and the site, which i don't anticipate happening any time soon. And, I think the singaporeans are just screwed, because I don't think any dynamic dns setup can keep up with a new IP literally every second. Daily or hourly changes are fine, but 86,400 new IP's per day is just too much.

A new IP literally every second? This would break every network protocol. You would not be able to use the internet for anything whatsoever.

this is a common problem for Singaporeans... my number might have been high, but SG players can't login to the site because the ip changes by the time the site loads after clicking login... idk how or why they do that, but i think the only way for them is to try to pay for a static ip.
