This is probably asked b4 but i try anyway.. In my autoexec.cfg (i keep it in both application support/quake3/q3ut3 and in the gamefolder) i have following lines... But it doesnt respond ingame..

bind F8 "ut_radio 6 6 ^1Heya all! "
bind F9 "say_team I'm...[$health]...[$location]...[$weapon]"
bind F10 "ut_radio 5 5 Incoming @ $location, NEED BACKUP!"
bind F11 "screenshotJPEG" //take screenshot

This is copied right off from my cfg in my pc... Am i doin something wrong here?

The other thing i got probs with:
bind MOUSE3 "ut_zoomin" //Zoomin

The only thing thats happens when i press mouse3 (scrollbutton) down is "fire".. I have a Mx510..

Game folder will do you no good ...

Put it in the Users/**YOUR USER NAME**/ Library/Application Support/Quake3/baseq3

and in the Users/**YOUR USER NAME**/ Library/Application Support/Quake3/q3ut3

Also I never had good luck with autoexec configs .. I just added what I need to the q3configs themselfs.

What drivers are you useing ?

I dunno about logitech but I find that if I have microslops drivers install the buttons dont all work right in Q3/UrT

Hey Hornet - and thx...

Ok, i put my binds in q3config and put 2 similar in Application Support/Quake3/baseq3 and Application Support/Quake3/q3ut3. About the drivers to my mouse, i just d/l the drivers from Logitech and now i have "Logitech Control center" and do my mousesettings there.. I guess i will remove them and use usb overdrive instead, heard UO is better <-- can I set button configuration in UO as well?

I personally use NO drivers whatsoever ( other then what the OS comes with)

I use buttons 4 and 5 for expose and button 3( scroll wheel click) I dont use outside of UrT.
all of it works just fine .

did you try putting the action you wanted directly into the q3config ? it might work just fine then .

Well... Since i had an autoexec all the commands can now be found in my q3config.. So all the binds is there... But still the radiobinds doesnt work.. I removed my autoexec.cfg, still no radiobinds.. Strange.. The mouse3 thingy.. Is this line correct: bind MOUSE3 "ut_zoomin" //Zoomin ? One click on scrollbutton for zoom in and one click for zoom out (G36)? I have similar q3config in Application Support/Quake3/baseq3 and Application Support/Quake3/q3ut3.. Still no radioaction and still no zoom function with mouse3... Wierd....

Hornet - Its just fine now, all radiobinds is working just fine... I will never ever let ya know what i did wrong

Still i have to clear out the mouse3 thingy...

If your still having the mouse problem.. it's drivers

try running with no drivers and see how it goes

If it helps any here are my binds on my mouse

bind MOUSE1 "+attack"
bind MOUSE2 "ut_weaptoggle knife"
bind MOUSE3 "+button5"
bind MOUSE4 "ut_zoomin"
bind MOUSE5 "ut_radio 5 1 The Bitches are hiding here.... $crosshair"

I will do that... I just drag Logitech control center to trash? = all drivers gone? (nope. cant do that, only rightklick and remove but i doubt that the drivers will disappear if i do that) And how do u manage the sensitivity from fast to slow between game and os?

LOL I just opened up the system prefs and chaged it every time

the installer should have an uninstaller

I use USBOverdrive for that - individual mouse settings for any app you want.
