Has anyone got an idea of what the system requirements may be? I know that UE4 would bolster it up, but by how much?
4.1 had the following;

VID: NVidia or ATI card with 128MB RAM (256MB or more highly recommended).
HDD: 50GB, but the more the better for additional levels.

As someone with a medium spec laptop, games like UrT are golden for me so I hope it doest go up far

This is a good question but unfortunately not a question that can be answered using simple numbers considering the random nature of a given specification. Are we talking about PC, Linux or Apple when trying to apply a benchmark?

By observation and as to our current development direction I would say anything with in the last six years as far as tech goes should be playable as for the most part we will be using old tech in a new engine using 4.2 as the road map as to the design of HD.

What will help a lot in determining benchmarks should be known by the time we hit Christmas as more games comes out using the Unreal 4 engine but my overall impression is Epic is investing heavily into performance requirements across a lot of different platforms

Was rendered using the Android API so it is suspect that UE4-UrT will even out preform UrT 4.2 on off brand CPU/GPU combinations.

Having a quality engine like UE4, doesn't mean the game can't have settings for low end graphics.

Ever heard of Tera online? It looks pretty good on max settings and there is no way my 250 dollar laptop can run it. But on low settings, it runs smoothly.

Well that’s the thing about UE4 is it's modular so if we keep the performance hit low on the pre-loads, weapons,player models, then it's all up to the environment to control the over all performance curve.

Once UE4 games hit we would be very interested in personal observation and impressions as to performance in general and once HD goes to QA then someone with a low end rig would most likely be of more value as say compared to someone running cutting edge.
