Hi, yeah I know 4.1 isn't supported anymore, but I was just wondering if anyone still had the optimized build for the x86 client.
I keep getting an error something along the lines of ^1Error: file ui/setup.menu, line 1: file ui/menddef.h not found. I have been using mitubishi's build but it does not let me change the master list to master.quake3arena.com as it just stays on master.urbanterror.info.
I have a number of friends that still play some servers on 4.1 and sometimes I would like to play with them without having to memorize ip's. :)
I'm using Ubuntu 12.04. It would be greatly appriciated if any of you still have those builds made some years ago. I found some old posts about this, but all the download links are dead. :'(

The lovely people at Urban Zone still host the mitsu builds like they always have: http://urban-zone.or...details&id=1070
Just got to http://urban-zone.org and go to Home>Downloads and search for 'mitsu' if you're not after 64-bit Linux with bumpy.
r00t's build should also be compatible with 4.1. Unfortunately his site is down right now. And don't forget you could always just play 4.2 cos it's better :P

Okay thanks, I think this is the one I'm using now to play that isn't letting me change the master, but I will try it. If I can' t figure it out, I might just have to use the windows client with Wine :(

Dedoimedo did a troubleshooting guide for 4.1 on Linux a few years ago, it might help with using the standard client: http://www.dedoimedo...leshooting.html
