I've found that "cg_autoradio 2" at least here, turns off the stupid "grenaaaaaaaaaaaaaaade" msgs, but leaves on the lol messages :D

(linux though, I didn't test that on windows or osx)

About something else then..

I have played UrT since early 2002 on a pc..
A few months ago I got hold on a iMac (globe) 1,25 ghz and 768 ddram, nvidia Gf4 64 mb... What are my options running UrT smothly? Its not running perfect imo. Lets talk about fps, i guess i get 35 - 50 on a server with 10 players = not enough imo.. Do I have to get used to this? My mac is too slow? I run it widescreen, 1440 x 900, guess that affect ofcourse.. But do I really get so much more fps if I, lets say run UrT in 800 x 600 (with 2 black "screens" on both sides  ) ... How about it? U macsters got anything to say about this?

/me ain't a macster, but do you have your fps capped? this is known to help. also you could run another (lower) widescreen resolution, so you don't have those black bars and still you might get some more fps.

Yeah, you should be getting more tham that. try 1280x1024, im assuming
you have a 17" screen. also try the all the tweaks mentioned in this thread.

Can I get widescreen with that resolution? 1024 = I asume its height? I have 900 2day, could it possibly look a bit wierd?
