I have not seen a UT launcher for Linux. Have only seen one for Mac and Weendoze. Have I simply not looked in the right place? One in the works maybe?

Reason I'm asking is I see lots of "sign" of many more UT servers than I am getting on my in game browser. The In game list is getting pretty lean from my view (5-9 most often), and most have a very high ping from my local (Arizona).

Any ideas or responses very much appreciated!

there are verisons of the UrT updater for "all" OS here:
http://www.urbanterr...fo/downloads/#2
just download the linux pack and extract it into your UrT directory.
you might also want to check if you have that launcher already. it should be in your main UrT directory.

a version missmatch (current is 4.2.023) would explain why you only see a few servers.

The update solved it! Many thanks. I had d/l'ed this version just a couple weeks ago and thought it would be current.
Never dawned on me that ver diff was problem. Now seeing hundreds of servers in list and HAPPY!
