There's no definite date, but it'll be a few months for sure.

Yeah that can be fun, I was thinking in a game type where we can use the feature "Invisibility" :D

I would guess it will be a completely new download. They said they want to clean up all those goddamn zpak files. I hope they can get it down to less than 3. I completely understand why they have done updates with zpak files like they have, but it would be nice if they were able to have the updater go in, unpack the .zip I mean .zpak, remove/add the files required for the update and then zip the directory back up again and remove the temp folder that was created. Maybe have a main game .zpak and an update one, so you aren't having to unzip the huge amount of content in the main .zpak.

Anyway I expect it will be a brand new download through the new updater.

4.3 should be needing a full download as we are going to be using a new version of the Updater too.
Against all odds, the 4.3 version will certainly be actually lighter than the latest 4.2 versions.

Close enough! We decided to rearrange all the pk3 and you might know the updater can't delete files, so from the moment we decided to do so a full download should have been needed in most of the cases. Otherwise, you're right :P

mh I see... What about the config? Could we have an option in the installer with "Install and Import [Browse...]"?

Simply put, the Updater could give you two options to choose from: (where [ ] are checkboxes)
- Clean Install
OR
- Install and import [Browse to Urban Terror folder...]
--- [ ] config files (Selects all)
------ [ ] listing
------ [ ] of
------ [ ] .cfg
------ [ ] files
------ [ ] in indicated
------ [ ] UrT folder
--- [ ] demos & screenshots
--- [ ] maps

Basically you can indicate an old UrT folder, and choose what to import with it while installing 4.3, as you guessed.

I guess most of us in here know how to do all that quickly "by hand", but we might want to start thinking about everyone. Plus, everybody will appreciate such a plus I think.
