I was wondering if the team would consider porting Urban Terror to SDl2?
This would make playing UrT under linux a bit nicer since we could then alt-tab and
it would also stop UrT from turning off any other monitors that arn't the primary one.
There is already an effort to port ioquake 3 to sdl2 by the community.
https://github.com/ioquake/ioq3
I tried to run UrT using this version but it just crashed so I'm not sure if this will affect the ability
of UrT to run on Quake 3 if UrT has to be modified to work with Ioq3 with SDL2
I'd like to know what others think about it and the feasibility of doing this since UrT:HD is being worked on now
so I'm not sure if Frozen Sands would want to put in this much effort. But using the latest Ioq3 might make it relatively painless to
port to SDL2.

Yep. This seems like a pretty big undertaking and to be honest, it's not really worth it considering we have another version of Urban Terror on a different engine on the way. Also, the version of ioquake3 that the current version of UrT runs on was forked a while ago, so I don't actually know how difficult porting SDL2 would be :s
