I was using the following command (of course I actually used my rcon password):
printf '\xFF\xFF\xFF\xFFrcon <rconpassword> exec server.cfg\n' | nc -u -w 1 urt.ptk-clan.club 27961 | sed -ne ':x;/\xFF/{N;s/\xFF\xFF\xFF\xFFprint\n//;tx};/^$/d;p'
When I ran that line, I got a response from the server saying "execing server.cfg" However the server does not actually exec the server.cfg.
When I run /rcon exec server.cfg while actually in the server, in my UrT client, the server will restart and load the map at the bottom of the config file. However running the above command from my linux terminal does not do the same thing.
I have confirmed that it works by sending a bigtext and that came through just fine.
Any Ideas on why this isn't working??
