Urban terror HD use part of the urban terror account system or is only with steam account?

if you want to play using the matchmaking system, possibly lobbies and a friends list, you will need to use team (possibly linking your steam and urt.info account)
besides that the game should still work the same way it does now, at least thats how i understood it :)
