Hi, used to play a lot some years ago, wanted to get back into UT.

Getting message "no servers in master list" - I shut off the firewall completely, still nothing.

I did add my authkey to the file, and I'm authenticating when UT boots, but, no servers are showing up (yes it's set to INTERNET and all types of servers).

Is there something else I can do?

A few things to check

1. Is your version of UrT up to date? We are currently on version 4.2.023

2. Have you tried clicking the "Get New List" button?

3. Go to your game folder and open up q3ut4/q3config.cfg and find the following lines and make sure they are the same as shown below:

seta cl_master3 "master3.urbanterror.info"
seta cl_master2 "master2.urbanterror.info"
seta cl_master1 "master.urbanterror.info"
seta cl_master "master.urbanterror.info"

If all of the above looks fine, then I honestly have no idea what to tell you.

This is a common problem with urban terror in all versions also version 4.1.

If you open the console with the ~ key and type /seta cl_master1 "master.urbanterror.info" or seta cl_master1 "master.qauke3arena.com"
and your list does not come back you are going to need to re install everything this most off the times will correct it.

I am experiencing this problem now. Worked fine yesterday but to day no server list. My favorites are still showing up and I can access them, but when I go to Internet and get new list or refresh list nothing. Tried the recommended lines in console and no help.

You can set the list to "master2.urbanterror.info" and that should work for now.

Correct, a quick fix is to write the following line in your console: /cl_master master2.urbanterror.info

The master server (master.urbanterror.info) is now working again :)
