Hi everyone!
I played urt for long years but then i left it behind for 2 years or something like that. My question is if you guys still enjoy this game and if there is a good community.

Well. yes.
Best game ever. Maybe not if we are honest, but surely the one i enjoy(ed) the longest up till now, and surely/(hopefully) for years to come.
While there may not be a lot of different servers and players actively playing (im talking form a bomb mode perspective here), you are basically guaranteed to always find a game.
Considering its free and just a <2GB download, try it out :)

It can't be that bad, if things are still okay from a bomb mode perspective. :D
Edit: More serious answer.. it can be a bit depressing to re-join a "dying" game after some years, so I just want to assure you that Urban Terror development is still very much alive. Honestly speaking I don't think the current speed of development is fast enough to realistically turn things around any time soon, but we have some interesting plans for how to improve that situation. Hopefully you'll be hearing some news about that soon, and we'll need every single community member to make it work.

If your question is should you start playing it again, that's fully up to you. Community wise, there are decreasingly a lot less players playing Urban Terror in these days, which is not surprising considering its an old game lacking frequent updates.(Hopefully, this will change if URT HD ever actually manages to get released.)
As far as game enjoyment goes, years ago I used to play it all the time;now I play it once in a blue moon. ...perhaps the game became stale for me. Regardless, it's always a nice classic game to go back to and play. Would definitely give it a shot.

Yeah I think there are still plenty of people who play it. Not as many as a few years ago because new games come out that draw people away but there's still many who play it.

Well during the summer months activity tends to slow to a crawl but there is always a match to be had if you know where to look. Overall FS maintains a master server for the convenience of others but should be considered the wild west as compared to the number of private servers hosted for the use of sub-communities where you will not find a bot in site and play against some of the top players in the game today.
Granted UrT is not as popular as it once was as a mode under Quake 3 but there is still a lot of effort being put into the old girl just to keep things running for the next 16 years.
