you can built a toggle that you manually trigger when you equip a gun. thats about as complicated as it gets.

to extend on this: if you want a bind to only be active while you carry a pistol, you can obviously bind it to "3" (assuming thats they key for your sidearm).
As soon as you want a bind to work for the sr8, but not for the LR300, you need to toggle it manually.
