What the heck? Why did the the kill sound change with this hotfix? Did you guys apply this hotfix to the wrong SVN branch? Now its just a 'clink' noise and not the 'tower bell' sound. I can barely notice the lame 'clink' sound. I guess I will eventually learn the sound but the 'tower bell' sound was much more distinct.
Something in the back of my mind says there was a choice of sounds in the menu originally. I could be wrong and I can't find it now.
Sorry, I'm open to change but am more open to choice. Just weird that a security fix affected such a minor piece of the pie like this client side sound.

Apparently, the sound you hear now is the correct one. As i was told on discord, the old sound was the same sound, just played at half speed.
However, i agree. The old kill sound was much more distinct. The new one sounds like a bullet impact on metal to me.

Sorry for my bad spelling - I am still asleep. :)

Ok, I'm already getting used to it, just sounds a little wimpy for a kill
Thanks for the clarification.
