fast compile & splitting Rate Topic: -----

I know I could just navigate in gtkradiant or use models, but I'd like to see maps in q3ut for testing. Is there a way to compile very fast a map that will at least contain the brushes properly? If that is not possible is there a way to cut a map in parts properly? I don't know how to do it without having great difficulty in connecting it again.

For the map to run in q3 all that is needed is the BSP stage to actually create the bsp file. The rest is just aesthetic.
