MORT HATH CHOSEN!

He spoketh the word, and unto Mort the Staples' Employee handed the Logitech MX500. Then Mort sayeth to the employee, how shall I make this mouse cost $50, rather than the regular price of $64.95. And the employee spake unto Mort, and instructed him to seek out the Staples website, and off that website, so the employee said, Mort shall find a .pdf file. Mort sook, Mort found. Mort printed. Mort prepared the form for a $15 rebate, and All Was Good.

Those require the old steel running wheel though. Makes too much noise. And what were they thinking? Cordless? or not Cordless? Why must they tease us? :x

I have the MX500 and MX510. Both great mice. I use the 510 and I prefer it cuz of the smoother surface where it contacts with your palm and fingers. The 500 has more of a textured feel. They say the 510's response is faster but I dont know that I see any benefit compared to my 500. Unless you have both you'll never compare the two anyways. Both great mice.

The man with one watch, always knows what time it is. The man with two watches, is never quite certain.

I played with it a bit last night (my mouse, you sick f*ck)... It was a bit jumpy, almost worse than my old shitty basic Logitech mouse. Any ideas? Maybe it's my mousepad.

I use white computer paper taped to my desk as a mouse pad. I repace it when it gets dirty once a week (ashes).
In my manuel it says white surfaces are the best for optical mice.
work's for me.

I've got a Staples mousepad that some staples person handed to me up on campus a couple months ago. I think I'm getting used to it now though, and its awesome.
