We just switched over to a new host for our Clan GOT TDM server.
We used basically the same server config at our new host as the old one.
The problem is our player numbers are 0 on both teams even if the server is full.
This didn't happen on the other server.
Any ideas on what's causing this ?
Thx.

this sometimes happens if (seta sv_maxclients "20"
seta g_maxGameClients "20") those cvars are listed in more than one config file but are different, say you servers startup file lists 18 and your server config lists 20, dont forget to check your mapcycle too if those cvars are different there too it can cause it. after you check them make the proper changes, kill the server, delete q3config.cfg and qconsole.log
then restart your server.

Thanks for your input ghozt.
I tried your idea but still had the same problem.
Those cvar's weren't changed when we moved and they both were of the same value anyway (20).
What I also did notice was that the console.log was getting way too big though.
I opened it up and found a continuous bunch of errors. ("info string too long" or something like that).
We added some more server info to the server config and those, as it turns out, were too long.
So, I shortened the info strings on:
sets Admins
sets Email
sets Location
sets URL
The errors went away and the player totals are back to normal.
