ut_algiers still not working for me

what is the default hunkmeg? jus wondering

Not sure what the default hunkmeg is set to, and I can't check since I am at work. Just open up the console in Q3 and type /com_hunkmegs without a value afterwards. It will display what it is currently set to, as well as the default value.

56 is default, and you'll need to restart quake3 before hunkmegs is changed.

wow, i think ut_sand need most memory...i set my hunkmegs to 70 and ut_sand is the only map that still didn't load.........

Heh, try intermodal... that's one memory hungry map right there. Many needed 80 or more to get it to run.

Setting it too high has caused problems for some people as well. I've helped at least 3 people that had a hunk allocation problem with a gig of ram and hunkmegs at 512. Turning it down to 128 was the fix for them.

You never know. /me shrugs :roll:
