I was playin some TS server the other day on ut_sanc, and, somehow, the floor to the silo opened up, and people fell to their death. We were messin around, trying to figure out how to open it, but nobody could. I've searched the forums, and asked around, but nobody seems to know how it happened. Just a weird bug, or am I missing something?

1. There is a red button in the control room. Pressing this button slides the "walkway" in and out of the walls. You need to wait a bit between presses, i.e. you cant keep sliding the walkway in and out. It's an some timer. Needs to be a certain amount of time before you can activate the button again.
2. If the walkway is retracted you can press this button from outside the control room. You can do it "through the hole in the wall". You dont need to be in there.
3. If the walkway is retracted and you are feeling leet (or are a sucker for punishment) you CAN jump into the control room from the missile room. There are small ledges where the walkway is retracted. It takes threee jumps. Outside door > first ledge > other wall ledge > grab windowframe and climb in. (or other wall ledge > doorway, if that door already has been opened) Tricky, but it's quite possible to do.

I think the same thing happened last night during a TS war. Wasn't a witness because it was the other team that lost one player. All our team heard was a 'crack' sound. So my guess is you need someone playing around on top of the silo, and someone to press the button from the outside.
