Hi,
I don't have the money to buy UT right now, so I wanted to know if I can use the UT mod on a demo of Quake 3.

You mean you dont have the money to buy Quake 3 ?. Cuz UT is free.
I dont think the Demo version of Q3 is gonna cut it. first you need to have a cd key to play on pb enabled servers and second i dont think the baseq3 folder in the demo version has all the required files. it would be interesting to see just how far you could get with the demo. have you tried it yet?. Im curious to know what happens.

It would be interesting to see how far I can go with this.
I can probably get the CD key from somewhere, and I could try to install.
As you said, there is no baseq3 folder included, so UT may not be able to be installed.
Is the baseq3 folder neccessary for installation of UT?
If it isn't, I may be able to make this work.

If you just give up eating 2 pizzas for one month you can buy yourself a copy of Q3. Quake 3 doesn't cost more than 15€. All you need is the pak0.pk3 file from the CD and the CD key so you can get the PC version or the Quake 3 Gold Edition which is hybrid. Go to the closest PC store and look in PC section for Quake 3.
