Ok. I missed something. I misunderstood this sentence. I read it as pixel can show us 32 bits which is not true. But there is written pixel needs 32bits textures to show us 24bits view.

Ok the vsync, tripple buffering stuff is interesting, but people are forgetting the MAIN PROBLEM here.  I hope someone is looking into fixing the maps, so the whole level isn't drawn.  A lot of us don't have expensive modern gaming rigs.  Thats why we play mods of 8 year old games.  This game might be playable if only someone would hint brush the maps.  Until that, people with older machines are going to be left in the cold, which means less players online.

Afaik, the FS mappers have already added more hint brushes to their tentative 4.1 maps.

Why this thread keeps being bumped is beyond me. I had suggested to the original poster to change the title but oh well, I guess is a bit late now, most very-beginners that would read it and get an exaggerated idea I guess aren't that very-beginners now or not around.
