I just remembered another long standing issue after installing the game on Linux: Demo names are always shown in uppercase in the UI and since the Linux filesystem is case sensitive, loading them won't work unless the filename is all uppercase as well. This is highly annoying as you can imagine.
When ETFortress ported their Q3 code over to ET, they also had this issue again so I assume it can be fixed in the menu or client code. ET itself does not have the problem since demo names are displayed and loaded with correct casing.

For other games I wrote me a script to launch the demos from the file manager, so this would solve the problem anyway. It's still irritating and it would be great if it could be fixed at some point by making the UI treat the filenames as case sensitive.
