Now should I replace it with a 8800gts $556 or a 8800gtx $760?

I'd say neither... there's smarter ways to spend the money. Get a card that is not spankin new, for at most 50% of the money. This will allow you to buy a card again at half time of what you normally would have done with the very expensive card. At that time, you can get better cards then these expensive ones for half the money. That way you will stay more up to date for the same amount of money.

Unless your the kind of sick twisted individual that MUST have 700 dollar video cards, listen to woek, what the heck do you need such uber vid specs for?
You could slap a geforceMX w/256 from wal mart in there and do just fine. Put the rest away and save up for a house ffs.
