I live in the UP and some ppl I know but don't talk to, lol have razr slvrs. We don't have a provider here that sells that phone. I want to get a Black Krzr. So can I get a unlocked black krzr and use it?

Alltell = cdma(here atleast)
black krzr = gsm
razr slvr = gsm

In short, no, not if the carrier that works where you live doesn't carry it.

They are picky about unlocked phones. if you're with altel/sprint/verizon its totally out of the question because you have to register ESN with the company. If its using a sim card, you can get away with not registering a new IMEI because the sim card is where the phone number is.
