NVG Team Identification BUG

i seem to be the only one getting this bug :(

its been around since 3.0..

NVG will work fine for a little bit then randomly (it seems) it goes bad :(

say im on red... my team get highlighted as blue and the enemy as red.. which can lead to accidental TK'ing and mis-ident of enemy meaning i die :!:



anyone else get this?!

the enemy color with nvg is allways red

if the enemy = blue, a red []
if the enemy = red , a red []

So it's not really a bug, its just strange logic :roll:

It takes some getting use to...
Once you get the hang of it, you'll just shoot whatever shows up red.
My guess is: People who use NVG usually use them a lot... So I doubt they'd want to look for blue when they're red and red when they're blue... So they just made it one color--Red.
Red = Danger = Shoot The Bitch :)

so... when im red the enemy is red and my team is blue
and when im blue the enemy is red and my team is blue?!

Ok. Don't think of the "teams" as colors.
When using NVG... There are two things.
Blue = Friendly
Red = Enemy

No matter what team you're on.

Blue team is swat, red team are terrorists.
I personally hate the american flag on the blue team.
