Looks like another league/cup setup is almost ready to go: http://www.conagecup.org/news.php
They will be using PunkBuster which means players will need Quake 3 Arena plus PunkBuster installed.

I think if you contact id software and say you lost your key they will give one for like $5. <-- not 100% on that

Update on the conage cup: We already have enough teams signed up we are just waiting on some rosters to be submitted. Clans have till week 2 to complete the guids.

We are also looking for someone to GTV matches and shoutcast, so if anyone is interested stop by the conage cup forums.

Some new features with the conage cup: Demos form a match can be uploaded and dloaded by anyone. Free agent section for players wanting to participate that are not currently in a clan. Public viewed diputes so each player and clan can learn from each dispute. Also a forum that isnt rated PG-13 like some other leagues I know of.

Update

We are now accepting european clans to join our league. Server rules will be updated and played fairly.
We are also going to do a cap differential spread. So if a clan exceeds the spread for that match they earn an extra point.


These are just some of the new features we will include in our league.
