HELP! i want to play already! Rate Topic: -----

i have a valid Cd-key that i bought and on most servers i get "mis-typed cd key? and invalid cd-key ( its not mis-typed. )

And when i do get on a server i get this:

Hmm... Try deleting ur q3key file, then retyping it in. That might help.

search for q3key in your whole quake3 directory (including subdirectories) and delete them ALL. then re-enter it.

Had somebody with the same problem the other day. Enter a bogus key when starting Q3, then try to play single player. Then enter your legit key again and see if that works.
